A native of Washington, DC, Susan has a natural talent for taking little or nothing and making it amazing. Susan’s CREATIVITY is limitless and is a master at creating and producing flawless weddings and events. Susan brings the "GLAMOUR" to Glamour & Glo as her personal style and BRAND are always at the forefront because she believes image is everything. From her day-to-day style to your personal event, Susan’s eye for detail coupled with her passion and awesome organizational skills makes her an equally awesome EVENT PLANNER and a force to be reckoned with.
Susan thanks GOD everyday for the natural TALENTS/GIFTS that he’s allowed her to have and making it possible for her to share them with the world. Her true passion and inspiration comes from her loving husband and two kids as well as her infinite love for the Arts and Theater. Growing up, Susan was the "GOTO" person for planning family functions and hosting parties for her friends and co-workers. From the ripe age of 2, Susan began taking professional dance classes and competing in local beauty pageants and fashion shows until the age of 17. She is the person that’s always in the know and stays on top of the latest fashion trends from head to toe which also fuels her fire to produce AWESOME events. At an early age, Susan knew that she had a special GIFT and was put on this earth to plan and design tasteful and stylish events with meaning.
Susan's senior year in high school was a turning point when she decided to work for a noted retail chain in the area as a cashier. But that cashier position afforded 
her the opportunity of assisting the Creative Director for Displays in dressing the store windows and her TALENTS were recognized immediately. At the age of 17, she hosted her first professional fashion show and continued to plan numerous events. It wasn’t until she had the pleasure of doing the most important event of her life which was her PARENT'S 50th Wedding Anniversary. The rave reviews she received were so overwhelming that it empowered her to take her passion to a new level and she opened her own full service Event Planning and Design Company.
In the winter of 2006, she was hosting a party and one of the party-goers began asking her questions about who did the design work and put the party together and of course she “ME”. As the conversation went on, she discovered the party-goer also had a company strictly doing design work and the two kept in touch. Later that spring, the two were ironically put together to host a wedding but it didn’t stop there because shortly after; they merged their companies to create the ONE and ONLY Glamour & Glo Event Planning and Design aka "Glamour & Glo Events" which is becoming one of the most sought after event planning and design companies in the DC Metropolitan area and abroad with an A-List clientele. The rest is history......
For Susan, there is no greater joy than being able to be of service to people and helping them create their dream event and watching their faces in awe at what we've done in their honor..
