Areaka Shae
Areaka Shae has been a public relations and event executive for nearly two decades. Her bold, unique and platinum style has taken her across the country to style weddings and swanky soirees for celebrities and Washington insiders to include NBA player Dahntay Jones, Author and Motivator Stedman Graham, and Washington D.C. Mayor Vincent Gray. She is passionate for all things fabulous and over the top. Inspired by her event-planning travels to Argentina, Brazil, China, France and South Africa, Areaka Shae uses the world around her as the canvas for design and inspiration.
She brings the “Glo” to Glamour & Glo. Her passion for planning and entertaining developed at an early age as she studied and worked alongside her mother designing dinner parties and annual family events that became renowned in their community.
Areaka Shae is based in Maryland with her husband of 14 years and their two adorable twin daughters.
